This Week’s Recipe: Crock Pot Tomato Soup

Crock pot soups are great for this time of the year when the temperature drops below freezing. This hearty tomato soup is sure to satisfy you and keep you warm. For this recipe, we’ll combine onions, garlic, tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano, vegetable bouillon, salt, and pepper to make a great tasting tomato soup.

Let’s cover the ingredients you’ll need:


Ingredients

  • 1 Onion
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes
  • 2 cans Tomato Puree
  • 6 cups Vegetable Bouillon
  • 3 tablespoons Basil
  • 3 tablespoons Oregano
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, crushed
  • 3 teaspoons Salt, or to taste
  • 3 teaspoons Pepper, or to taste

Let’s step through how to make Crock Pot Tomato Soup:

Directions

  1. Put the onion, tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper into the crock pot.
  2. Add the vegetable bouillon to the crock pot and mix the ingredients together. Add more water if needed.
  3. Put the lid on the crock pot and cook on the low setting for 5 hours.

    I am making this really soon. This sounds absolutely delicious. All of your recipes do, I must have a hankering for tomato soup
